18th Annual Panama City Highland Games & Scottish Festival
Welcome!
The Festival Committee welcomes you to our Festival of Scottish Heritage. We are fortunate
to have vendors with Scottish wares and several clans & and societies who will help trace
your roots. The Wyndbreakers, Duel Christian, Smithfield Fair and the Lucky Mud are here to
entertain throughout the day. Thrill to the Skirl O’ the Pipes with our Pipe Bands! There
will be food and highland games and dance demonstrations. Before you leave the grounds, take
a moment to visit the sanctuary and reflect, if you will, on what we have faced throughout the
year, what we have to be grateful for, what it means to an American, and why our Scottish ancestors
came to this country —-- for FREEDOM, including religious freedom. We’d like to thank
all our supporters and advertisers as well as our host hotel, The Days Inn Bayside. We encourage
everyone to patronize those who support our Festival. No festival in the United States is complete
without the Kirkin’ o’ th’ Tartan, held here on Sunday morning at 11:00 A.M. Please join us for
fellowship and worship at this unique service.
If you need assistance or have any questions please feel free to approach any committee member,
any Panama City Police Explorer, or me, the Cop in the Kilt! We will be happy to help!
Have a great day!
Yours Aye,
The Scottish Festival Committee
